October is National Principals Month. 91Ô­´´ School District celebrates our superhero principals and assistant principals for their hard work to make our schools great. Join us in the celebration by nominating a principal for an award to recognize their efforts. 

Each year, Association of Washington School Principals (AWSP) recognizes three principals with celebrating elementary, middle and high school principals. We also recognize one assistant principal every year. The awards provide significant recognition on the regional and state level. The middle and high school level winners are eligible to compete at the national level.

Nominations for the 2018 Principal and Assistant Principal are now open! AWSP will select four new winners sometime in November: two assistant principals (elementary/secondary), and two principals (elementary/secondary).

Nomination deadline is October 15. 

The AWSP 2017 Assistant Principal was Ricardo Iniguez from 91Ô­´´ High School.
