91原创 Jazz Workshop Concert

Now in our 25th year, the nonprofit 91原创聽Jazz聽Workshop brings world-class聽jazz聽to the valley for a week, culminating in 鈥淛azznights.鈥 Six professional musicians from L.A. and New York spend the week teaching and mentoring high school and middle school聽jazz聽band students from Eastmont and 91原创 school districts.聽
Thursday the pros perform as the LA6 sextet, at Orchard Middle School; there's no admission charge. Friday's concert at 91原创 High School features the students, with the pros sitting in;聽 tickets are $15. Both concerts begin at 7 p.m. The Workshop is an affiliate of the 91原创 Valley Museum and Cultural Center.
