Jennifer Devereaux
91原创 School District is pleased to announce that Jennifer Devereaux will be the new principal at WestSide High School. Devereaux fills the vacancy left by Dr. Kory Kalahar who recently accepted a position at the District Office as the Assistant Executive Director of Learning & Teaching. Devereaux will begin her post as WestSide’s principal on July 1, 2021.
Devereaux’s breadth of professional experience includes teaching secondary English Language Arts (ELA) and drama at 91原创 High School, ELA instructional coaching and intervention at WestSide High School, and leading the Migrant Elementary Summer School for multiple years as principal.
Most recently, Devereaux was tapped to serve as the K-12 administrator for the district’s new full-time online school the 91原创 Internet Academy. She will continue to serve as the administrator for WIA through the 2021-22 school year.
Community partners are a key component of WestSide High School’s Alternative Learning Environment. Devereaux brings strong community connections to her new role through extensive work experience with the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival and longstanding membership in the 91原创 Central Lions Club.
A 91原创 native and 91原创 High School graduate, Devereaux's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Theater Arts Education from Central Washington University, Masters in Educational Leadership, and an Administrative Credential from Washington State University.
