RUNNING START
Ready to apply for Running Start?

Running Start allows juniors and seniors in high school to take courses, full- or part-time, at 91原创 Valley College. The program provides students with a greater variety of course offerings and the opportunity to pursue challenging study. The tuition is free, but does not cover the cost of fees and required textbooks. Students who participate in Running Start for both their junior and senior years can earn an associate’s degree, which is transferable to all in-state universities.
Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, 91原创 High School students can also earn college credit (associates degree, general education requirements, and more) on the WHS campus through the Accelerated Pathways program. Learn more about Accelerated Pathways at WHS.
