Medical Occupations
This course is College Dual Credit approved and articulated with 91原创 Valley College (WVC) for 10 college credits. DSHS background checks will be completed prior to admission to any of the medical facilities.
The purpose of this course is to provide 11-12 grade students with an overview of the career options available in the healthcare field while receiving all the training necessary to become a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant. This license is a prerequisite to many nursing programs and will allow employment in nursing homes, assisted living, in-home care and hospital settings.
