The deadline for submitting an application for the 91原创 School Board of Directors two open positions is January 6, 2020, at 4 p.m. The Board will appoint candidates to fill the two vacant at large positions for a term of two years, which is the next regularly scheduled board election.
Eligible applicants must be United States citizens, registered to vote and live within the 91原创 School District boundaries.
“We have a diverse community and we hope that our board reflects that. This is a unique opportunity for community members to be part of the energy and excitement that is building in our school district and to help us make an impact in the lives of our 7,500 students,” said 91原创 School District Superintendent Dr. Paul Gordon.
Applications can be completed online at wenatcheeschools.org or paper copies can be obtained at the District’s administration office at 235 Sunset Avenue, 91原创. Paper copies can be returned by mail to PO Box 1767, 91原创, WA 98807-1767 or dropped off in-person at the District office. Application materials are available in both English and Spanish.
The Board will review applications starting at 5 p.m. on January 6 to determine which candidates will be offered an interview. A public announcement of the candidates selected for interviews will be made by the Board upon completing their review. Interviews will take place during an open public meeting on Thursday, January 9 starting at 5 p.m. All candidates will be notified of the Board’s final selection by Friday, January 10.

Applications Deadline: Monday, January 6 at 4 p.m.
Board Application Review and Interview List Announcement: Monday, January 6 at 5 p.m.
Interviews: Thursday, January 9 starting at 5 p.m. during an open meeting.
Appointment: The Board intends to make an appointment at their regular meeting on January 14.
