91ԭ��

The 91ԭ�� School District (WSD) is pleased to announce the formation of the Strategic Planning Team (SPT). The team is made up of students, staff, parents, and community representatives. The SPT will collaborate to inform, enhance, and recommend a final draft of the District’s strategic plan to the 91ԭ�� School District Board of Directors. 

The following individuals have been appointed to serve on the SPT:

The team will hold their first meeting today, December 10th, and will meet monthly to help WSD set a course for the next five years through the development of a new strategic plan. The plan will ultimately include a shortlist of high-impact priorities and measurable goals focused on improving outcomes for students, a mission, and a vision. 

Over 34 parents and community members submitted their names to fill a limited number of seats on the team. “This was a very difficult decision,” said 91ԭ�� School District Superintendent, Dr. Paul Gordon. “I was so impressed with the interest level, caliber, and diversity of the parents and community members that submitted their names for consideration. This really speaks volumes to the vested interests our stakeholders have in the success of our schools.”
