Dawn Wood, a dedicated educator and student leadership advocate at Pioneer Middle School, has been recognized for her outstanding contributions. The Association of Washington Student Leaders (AWSL) recently named her the Northeast Region's 2024 Middle-Level Adviser of the Year.
Wood's unwavering commitment to fostering student leadership and activities has significantly impacted her school and students across Washington State. She is a champion for student leadership, actively creating opportunities for both students and adult learners. Her influence extends beyond Pioneer Middle School through her involvement in hosting Middle-Level Regionals and serving on the staff of the Cascade Middle-Level Leadership Camp.
